UK QUAD

Measure approx. 30"x40", on paper stock. Horizontal format. Most common and most collectible of British movie posters. Used to be issued folded, now issued rolled.

UK HALF SHEET

Measure approx. 22"x28" just like the American half sheet and uses the same format. Can be rolled or folded and not as common as the British Quad.

UK ONE SHEET

Measure approx. 27"x40" just like the American one sheet. Printed in Britain for use in other countries such as Canada or African states. Used to be issued folded but now come rolled.

UK DOUBLE CROWN

Measure approx. 20"x30".

UK FRONT OF HOUSE (FOH) STILLS
Measure approx. 8"x10".

US ONE SHEET (1sh)
The most common type of American movie poster. Nearly all one sheets printed before 1985 measure a full 27"x41". Most recent one sheets are approximately 27"x40". Always in a vertical format. Most collectible but also the most forged. Beware of fakes for US 1 sheets, such as Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, Jaws, Scarface to name but a few

AUSTRALIAN DAYBILL

Measure approx. 13" x 30". Issued folded in 3. Daybills are a perfect size for framing

FRENCH 47x63 ONE PANEL (Grande Affiche)

Measure approx. 47"x63". Almost always issued folded. Very large and VERY POPULAR among movie poster aficionados.

FRENCH TWO PANEL

Measure approx. 63"x94". Almost always issued folded.

ITALIAN ONE SHEET

Measure approx. 28"x39". Almost always issued folded. Also known as Foglio.

ITALIAN TWO SHEET

Measure approx. 39"x55". Almost always issued folded. The most common type of Italian movie poster. Also known as 2-Fogli. The standard Italian movie poster.

ITALIAN FOUR SHEET

Measure approx. 55"x78". Almost always issued folded. Also known as 4-Fogli. This size poster always makes a statement and dominates a room.

ITALIAN LOCANDINA

Measure 13"x28" - similar to our insert, but on paper stock.

ITALIAN PHOTOBUSTA

Measure 14"x20" until the late 50's when the size changed to 20"x28".

ITALIAN DOUBLE PHOTOBUSTA

Measure 28"x40" until the late 50's when the size changed to 40"x48".
